1st Place in the prosperity category / Global Compact Network Mexico
At Zucarmex we are proud to share that we were recognized with the LOGRA 2026 Award in the Prosperity category, awarded by the United Nations Global Compact Mexico Network.
The LOGRA Awards recognize companies and initiatives that promote sustainability actions with real impact in Mexico, highlighting projects that integrate innovation, social responsibility and sustainable growth within their business strategy.
In this edition, 64 business initiatives from across the country participated, evaluated for their contribution in the categories of Peace, People, Planet and Prosperity.
Zucarmex was recognized for Total Freshness, a technological project that optimizes the coordination between sugarcane cutting and milling using digital tools, GPS, and satellite connectivity. This initiative has reduced processing time from 35 to 20 hours, improved operational efficiency, and strengthened sustainable management across our value chain.
This achievement would not have been possible without the leadership of Engineer Gilberto Montoya, the project's driving force and manager, as well as the commitment and effort of everyone involved in its implementation. We also recognize the Zucarmex Sustainability team for identifying the potential of this initiative and promoting its participation in the 2026 LOGRA Awards.
This recognition reaffirms our commitment to innovation, sustainability and responsible development of the agribusiness sector in Mexico.

Zucarmex's 2024 Sustainability Report is the first report to present non-financial information on its performance in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) areas. It is based on five fundamental pillars, highlighting the commitments and progress achieved between January 1 and December 31, 2024. The report demonstrates how the company's operations contribute positively to ESG through responsible and sustainable management. The information is presented in accordance with the most recent version of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards, ensuring a comprehensive approach to ESG aspects.
